The Portrait. Just the thought of drawing portraits can send some artists and students
 scurrying away from their drawing tables in fear. But it doesn’t have to be that way! Deb’s easy teaching style will give you the confidence to draw any person or pet with ease. Two classes to this workshop: The 1^st class is People portraits and the 2^nd class is Pet portraits. We will learn to draw the characteristics of people and pets focusing on their expressive faces. This is not a caricature class. We will use certain design principles and elements of art to achieve a likeness but keep the expressive part of the portrait.

Students can sign up for a single class or both!  REMEMBER! This is a DRAWING CLASS ONLY!

"Fun & Free Creativity" Students and artists can paint acrylics and or watercolors from their hearts and still learn all the techniques and tips of acrylic and watercolor painting-for a full day!  This workshop is mostly for acrylic painters but watercolorist can join in the fun too!

We will cover basic to advanced techinques but go beyond just a "pretty painting".  Deb will coach and demonstration and help you  paint like you have always wanted to-freely from your heart! If you have never painted in acrylics and watercolor and have always wanted to or are just curious, this is your chance to explore these fun mediums in a laid-back and relaxing atmosphere.  We will touch upon the Elements of Art and Principles of Design and use color as a primary means of expression. Lot's of time to work at your own playful pace. Bring along reference photo's and your acrylic and watercolor painting gear!  Materials list available upon request.

We will work from small paintings to larger works.  Come and spend some quality time and paint whatever you want under the direction of Deb's instruction to guide you to complete a beautiful, finished work of art ready to be framed!
